At just 1.5kW, this was a relatively small system. Typically, it was designed to provide backup power for a few hours and to power a range of basic home appliances. It was designed with the following components:
1. Four (4) 370W all-black/back-contact Era Solar panels connected in a string.
2. Two (2) 220Ah FLA Amaze batteries,
3. A 70A PWM charge controller,
4. Surges for protection against lightning strikes, overload and fires.
